SHINE IS SUPPORTED BY FOUR LOCAL COUNCILS to provide services for older community members
The Towns of Cottesloe, Claremont, Mosman Park and the Shire of Peppermint Grove all provide funding that enables Shine to offer support to people who may not qualify for the HCP or CHSP program funding.

Services funded by Local Government
We can assist you with transport to and from appointments or even to do your shopping or other activities. Using one of our vehicles, one of our team can collect you, assist you with running your errands and then drop you back at your home.
Sometimes you just need a little help to stay on top of your housework or home maintenance. We are able to help you with general house cleaning, laundry and light maintenance work.
While you are getting back on your feet, we can be there to help you with your personal care. If you need assistance with meal preparation, our support workers can help you by preparing nutritious meals or helping you to prepare your own meals.
Keeping engaged with your community is vital for your well-being. We offer a vibrant social program with a variety of activities. These include weekly scenic bus tours, exercise classes several times a week, monthly luncheons and more.
You may be caring for loved one and need respite or time to run errands. We can help you by taking care of your loved one while you attend to errands or take some time for yourself.
